Small Chipper, huge potential

“With the growing cost of waste disposal many professional gardeners are looking for environmentally friendly alternatives to reduce and repurpose the green waste. I needed an alternative that would not only suit my budget, but also my storage requirements without compromising on quality. That's how I came across the GTS600, and after some additional research a call was put in to my local garden machinery dealership to order.

I turned up with a trailer full of garden waste in the torrential rain, keen to find out if my money had been well spent. It’s fair to say that not only was I surprised but so was the dealer with the machines performance. It’s easy to have grand expectations only to be disheartened when your purchase doesn’t meet them, but this machine put a smile on my face, even in the pouring rain.

The build quality is exceptional, from the gauge of the metal to the quality of the wheel bearings. It’s nice to see a well position safety cut off, long in feed with industrial gauge rubber kick back guard and the easy to replace heavy duty blades. It’s hard to pick fault with it. It has simply opened so many doors to my business. I’m now saving customers money on garden bed maintenance by turning woody waste into a valuable mulch, reducing the requirement to weed.”

Barborist

Safe, powerful and reliable

“My name is Boris, business manager of the firm Barborist and arborist by profession. From the first day I rented a GTM Professional GTS1300 I was already convinced to buy one, so I immediately did.

Its compactness and power is ideal for many places we go. We are often contacted to chop down a tree in hard to reach areas. In combination that we can do this with climbing techniques, the GTS1300 is perfect to shred the heavier work as well as the light.

It is very easy to handle and does what it’s made for. Its dimensions are ideal for entering through garden gates and even doors. My opinion in a few words, safe, powerful and reliable…“

National Institute for Organic Agriculture

Cartago - Costa Rica

Ecology in Costa Rica

"Farmers from across Latin-America come to the National Institute for the Organic Agriculture here in Costa Rica to learn how to grow cops in a sustainable way.

Creating and maintaining a healthy soil is of great importance in this. We have various test fields at the institute and can see clear results on the fields where we use the wood chips. The soil is less likely to dry out and is full of life!

The cuttings are immediately shredded and processed in the soil so that important nutrients are preserved. Working with the wood choppers always is the favourite part of our students."
